About CNCAR
From import, homologation and registration to placing the keys in Norwegian customers' hands — we have done every step of bringing Chinese EVs to Norway ourselves. Our understanding of this market comes from practice, not books.
CNCAR is an Oslo-based consultancy serving Chinese automotive brands planning to enter Norway and the Nordics. The team comes from the front line of Chinese EV import and retail in Norway, and knows every step from EU type approval and Norwegian registration to dealer negotiations.
We maintain long-standing relationships with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, industry associations, dealer groups and automotive media — and connect brands with the right people at the moments that matter.
The team works in Chinese and Norwegian. We understand how Chinese OEMs make decisions and at what pace, and we understand what Norwegian partners expect: transparency, compliance and long-term commitment. Our job is to put both sides on the same channel.
